Dr. James Shipley, DPM, and the staff of InStride Mt Airy Foot & Ankle Center are pleased to announce that Dr. David Collard, DPM, MHA, will be joining the practice in July 2017. Join us in welcoming him to the team!

Dr. Collard attended college at the University of Utah, attended podiatry school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, and completed his podiatric residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina.  He is a member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Collard’s interests in the practice include sports medicine, painful bunions, deformities of the toes, other foot and ankle pains and sprains, wound care and many others. He desires to help people of all ages stay active and on their feet by providing the best medical care and education possible.

He loves the outdoors, sports, and reading. He lives in the Winston Salem area with his wife and three children.
